Graphics Standards

Graphics Resolution/Sizing

In order to ensure that your pages load as quickly as possible, all graphics should be saved at the web optimized resolution of 72dpi. Additionally, graphics should be saved in the appropriate format for their content (JPG, GIF, PNG).

Graphics should be sized for their intended display location. Because the official TTU template handles image scaling in order to display the best images across all screens and devices, images should be sized 1.5 or 2 times the intended size. For example, for an image that you would like displayed in a 100px x 200px space, the actual image file should be saved at approximately 200px x 400px in size.

For assistance in optimizing your graphics, please contact IT TeamWeb.
