About the President's Leadership Institute

The President’s Leadership Institute offers a unique opportunity by bringing together faculty and staff in the same program.  Throughout the program, you’ll connect with distinguished Texas Tech faculty and staff leaders, exchange ideas, share experiences, and explore leadership approaches designed for success in higher education.

This year’s President’s Leadership Institute theme is Leading Together: United for Growth. The Value of collaborative leadership across teams, departments, schools, and colleges. Over the course of five engaging in-person sessions, approximately 20 leaders from across campus will expand their leadership skills, make lasting connections, and return to their colleges and departments ready to implement new initiatives, ideas, and programs.  This year’s program will culminate with the final session led by Texas Tech alum and nationally recognized negotiation and leadership expert, Linda Swindling, JD, CSP, CPAE.
