Presidential Lecture
& Performance Series

Dear PLPS patron,
Thank you for your interest in our upcoming programming as you venture to this page.
I applaud you for your continued support throughout these challenging past few years
as we navigated a lockdown and a handful of postponed performances. Your support as
we celebrated our 15th annual season in 2021-2022 (despite our pandemic and weather-related
challenges) justifies our notion to continue the program we refer to as President
Schovanec's gift to the community. I am thrilled to present to you an exciting lineup
of events that lead us to a bold, energizing & transformative 16th season. Whether
you are a brand new or returning patron: welcome to a small, but impactful program
aiming to enhance the intellectual and cultural landscape of Texas Tech University
and the South Plains. I look forward to seeing you in the Allen Theatre in the 2022-2023
academic year!
