- Grow undergraduate enrollment annually by 2%, with an estimated 44,739 students enrolled by 2030.

Scovell Business Leadership Program
Scovell Business Leadership Program (SBLP) originally established in the fall of 2013 as the Rawls Business Leadership Program, creates a dynamic learning experience designed to provide students with real-world knowledge and experiences to excel in leadership roles. Renamed in honor of the Scovell familys contributions to Rawls College in the fall of 2019, the program focuses on developing “complete students” who possess a strong academic foundation and real-world experience necessary to be innovative and ethical leaders. Open to all business majors, SBLP students have the opportunity to lead service-learning projects, travel internationally, and receive professional guidance from a personal mentor.
Texas Tech University Psychology Clinic
Housed within the Department of Psychological Sciences, the Texas Tech Psychology Clinic provides interactive learning and training opportunities for clinical and counseling psychology doctoral-level graduate students. In doing so, the clinic also provides affordable psychotherapy and psychological assessment services to children and adults from all backgrounds across Lubbock and the greater West Texas area.

The shift toward more centralized financial aid and scholarships distribution improves access to financial resources, simplifies processes and ensures consistent support for all students. This enhanced structure promotes equitable access and fosters a stronger sense of belonging.
TechThrive
Through its Quality Enhancement Plan, Texas Tech students will improve their collective well-being and mental health literacy by utilizing various well-being and mental health resources. Texas Tech will create, enhance and promote holistic well-being initiatives to improve campus climate related to well-being and mental health, thereby positively impacting student success.

- Encourage, recognize and celebrate innovative and outstanding teaching.
- Strengthen opportunities beyond the classroom for career and academic development, including undergraduate research, study abroad experiences and internships, both domestic and international.
- Foster an innovative and entrepreneurial graduate student culture and community that supports cutting-edge research and timely degree completion.
- Increase retention and graduation rates, while reducing disparities across student groups.
- Grow our online offerings to provide students from a variety of backgrounds with access to degrees, professional certificates and enhanced lifelong learning opportunities.

Texas Tech University Study Abroad
Texas Tech offers a comprehensive range of academic programs in more than 50 countries. Qualified students may study abroad for varying lengths of time – from a brief spring break session to a full academic year. Approved international programs include internships, service-learning, research opportunities, foreign language courses and courses taught in English that fulfill degree requirements. Each of these programs is designed to enhance the students development in an increasingly interconnected world.
Undergraduate Research
The Center for Transformative Undergraduate Experiences provides direction and support for undergraduate students interested in conducting inquiries and investigations that make original intellectual or creative contributions to a particular field of interest. The Center also facilitates workshops and creates collaborations and dialogues to support students, faculty, staff and organizations engaged in undergraduate research activities.

Texas Tech Online
We are committed to supporting the development and delivery of quality instruction for courses, including crafting an exemplary educational experience for non-traditional students who, for a variety of reasons, cannot learn in person. Often older than traditional students, with already some earned college credit, the non-traditional Texas Tech Online student requires innovative educational approaches to be successful. We are dedicated to supporting those students, including fast, free admission, free credit for prior work or life experience and flexible instruction.
Teaching Academy
The Texas Tech Teaching Academy advocates for teaching excellence, promotes service related to the universitys teaching mission, advises and mentors faculty, and shares knowledge about teaching strategies and their implementation. Texas Tech has a history of providing a strong environment for student learning and excellent teaching. The very existence of the Teaching Academy is a sign to the university community and beyond that good teaching matters, and the Teaching Academy contributes in practical ways to the support and development of a strong teaching culture.

- Leverage existing programs to provide financial literacy for all students while promoting long-term fiscal responsibility and meaningful stewardship of the resources at their disposal.

- Improve participation of experiential learning opportunities at Texas Tech University by increasing the number of College to Career opportunities for students by 50%.
- Increase the percentage of employed graduating seniors from 79% to 85% by 2030.

Government & Public Service Internship Program
This program provides students with firsthand experience in government on a federal or state level, with specific opportunities available in Washington, D.C., Austin and Lubbock. The programs objective is to provide students who have an interest in government and public policy with the opportunity to participate in public service by observing and contributing to the legislative process. It also helps students understand the challenges and rewards of public life. Additional programs are administered across campus by departments, schools and colleges.
First-Year Experience Program, Honors College
A unique program at Texas Tech, the Honors College First-Year Experience (FYE) program is designed to pave the way for new Honors students to transition smoothly and successfully into university life. Students choose from more than 25 courses within the FYE curriculum, each of which is delivered in a small-group setting that includes a built-in/attached Learning Community Group and individualized peer mentoring.

Red to Black® Peer Financial Coaching
Financial well-being plays a critical role in a student's ability to persist and stay enrolled throughout their academic journey. Red to Black® is dedicated to promoting financial literacy and well-being among students and their families, equipping them with the knowledge and tools necessary to navigate the financial challenges associated with earning a degree and navigating life after graduation.
Critical Infrastructure Security Training
The West Texas Cyber Workforce Development Consortium has launched Critical Infrastructure Security Training, an immersive, hands-on program designed to prepare industry professionals, college students, and even high schoolers for todays evolving cybersecurity challenges. Sponsored by a grant from the National Institute of Standards and Technologys (NIST) RAMPS initiative, this free training equips participants with the skills to manage IT systems, monitor and secure networks, troubleshoot problems, and protect the essential systems that keep our critical infrastructure running.
