Human Sciences / Nursing (Dual)
Texas Tech's Human Sciences and Nursing dual degree program offers pre-nursing students a one-of-a-kind opportunity to graduate with two degrees in approximately four years. Students complete the Bachelor of Science in Human Sciences at Texas Tech's College of Health & Human Sciences alongside prerequisite coursework, then apply to the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC) School of Nursing. For those accepted, this unique pathway prepares graduates to care for the whole person, emphasizing communication, critical thinking, and empathy alongside clinical nursing skills, setting them apart from traditional pre-nursing applicants.

Advanced Clinical Technology
Before students train at the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Nursing, they build Human Sciences expertise in nutrition, human development, counseling, hospitality and more.
Prerequisites and Career Readiness
During the first two years, students complete all pre-nursing prerequisites and required human sciences coursework, keeping them on track for both the Bachelor in Science in Human Sciences and nursing school application.
