Texas Tech will hold its summer commencement ceremonies Aug. 8-9.
Texas Tech University will host summer commencement ceremonies Friday and Saturday (Aug. 8-9). This will be Texas Tech’s second largest summer graduating class with a total of 2,036 graduates.
The class is representative of 46 U.S. states and 40 countries. The oldest graduate is 72 and the youngest graduates are 19.
Ceremonies can be viewed online via livestream. The ceremonies will be held at United Supermarkets Arena, 1701 Indiana Ave. While the event is hosted indoors, triple-digit temperatures are expected in Lubbock on Friday and Saturday. Guests may bring one unopened bottle of water per person into the arena.
