Dr. Alberto Jiménez
Chemistry Lecturer and Laboratory Coordinator
Dr. Alberto Jiménez earned his Ph.D. in organic chemistry from Colorado State University in 2013 and his B.S. in 1999 from the University of Costa Rica. He joined the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at Texas Tech University after being trained as a Post-doctoral Research Scholar at Emory University.

Dr. Richard Burke is an Irish mathematician who has been living in Costa Rica since 2020. He is a published peer-reviewed author with 7+ years of research experience and more than 15 years of teaching experience.

Professor, Food Sciences
Dr. Leslie Thompson is a Professor of Food Science at Texas Tech University. Her research interests include food quality, composition, and safety. She teaches Food Sanitation to Texas Tech-CR's RHIM majors.
