Dr. Hanzel Grillo teaches in Texas Tech's Industrial Engineering program as well as in the Department of Industrial Engineering at the University of Costa Rica. He teaches manufacturing systems control, facilities planning, and fundamentals of systems. Before earning a Ph.D. at the Polytechnic University of Valencia, he worked as a systems engineer within global supply chain operations for both Walmart and Procter and Gamble.

Biography

Dr. Hanzel Grillo teaches in Texas Tech's Industrial Engineering program as well as in the Department of Industrial Engineering at the University of Costa Rica. At Texas Tech, he teaches manufacturing systems control, facilities planning, and fundamentals of systems.

Before earning a Ph.D. at the Polytechnic University of Valencia (Spain), Dr. Grillo worked as a systems engineer within global supply chain operations for both Walmart and Procter and Gamble. In addition to teaching, he now pursues research into the mathematical modeling of manufacturing processes, a program he initiated during his doctoral studies.
