Dr. Alexandra Martinez has more than 60 publications and is active in organizing international conferences, peer-reviewing papers for publication, and participating in professional organizations throughout the Americas. In addition to her research, she is engaged in her own entrepreneurial ventures. She teaches Texas Tech computing courses on a part-time basis and is also a full professor in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Costa Rica.

Biography

Dr. Alexandra Martinez has more than 60 publications and is active in organizing international conferences, peer-reviewing papers for publication, and participating in professional organizations throughout the Americas. In addition to her research, she is engaged in her own entrepreneurial ventures. She teaches Texas Tech computing courses on a part-time basis. She is also a full professor in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Costa Rica. She holds a PhD in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Florida.
