Faculty Spotlight: Deborah Fowler
A professor and program director of Texas Techs Retail Management program, Dr. Deborah Fowler is a pioneer among her peers. She is famous as an early adopter of specific high-tech tools that help companies increase their sales. So well-known is she in the retail industry, that her former students always tell potential employers that they took “Dr. Fowlers Category Management class,” because it sparks interest every time.
Shes also known for taking her students on international trips. As often as she can, she guides Texas- and Costa Rica-based students in world capitals like London, Tokyo, and more.
As a student-focused professor with more than 30 years of experience, Dr. Fowler has connections with former students in organizations throughout the United States.
