How do I choose a major?

The College of Arts & Sciences has an Arts & Sciences Undeclared (ASUD) designation.

Students with 30 hours or fewer qualify and work with Academic Success Advisors to determine their major while taking core requirements. Office of Student Success

How do I get involved in research?

Students have several opportunities to pursue undergraduate research through the College of Arts & Sciences Undergraduate Research Academy (CASURA), Center for the Integration of STEM Education & Research (CISER) and Center for Transformative Undergraduate Experiences (TrUE).

Students can also contact faculty members, ask academic advisors and review departmental publications, bulletin boards and webpages for research opportunities.

What kind of scholarships and financial aid are available for incoming students, transfer students, and current students?

All students are considered for merit scholarships when they apply for admission. To be considered for other forms of aid, complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Use Texas Tech's school code 003644.
