International Economics

The Bachelor of Science in International Economics (B.S.I.E.) in the College of Arts & Sciences at Texas Tech University provides a comprehensive understanding of global markets and commercial relationships. The curriculum integrates specialized economics training with coursework in international politics and business to prepare students for careers in global trade, finance, and policy.

Unlike traditional economics degrees, the B.S.I.E. does not require a minor. The program uses those credit hours to build a unique interdisciplinary foundation in cultural/foreign languages and international finance. Additionally, students have exclusive networking opportunities with global economics scholars.
