Forensic Science
The Bachelor of Science in Forensic Science in the Department of Environmental Toxicology at Texas Tech University prepares students for rewarding careers in forensic science through a rigorous, laboratory-based curriculum grounded in the natural sciences. Students may customize their degree by selecting either the Forensic Chemistry Concentration or the Forensic Biology Concentration, allowing them to develop specialized expertise aligned with their career interests.

How do I choose a major?
The College of Arts & Sciences has an Arts & Sciences Undeclared (ASUD) designation.
Students with 30 hours or fewer qualify and work with Academic Success Advisors to determine their major while taking core requirements.
How do I get involved in research?
Students have several opportunities to pursue undergraduate research through the College of Arts & Sciences Undergraduate Research Academy (CASURA), Center for the Integration of STEM Education & Research (CISER) and Center for Transformative Undergraduate Experiences (TrUE).
