About the Reese National Security Complex (RNSC)
The Reese National Security Complex (RNSC) builds on a legacy of excellence that began with Reese Air Force Base, one of the nations premier pilot training facilities for more than 50 years.

More than 25,000 pilots, who served in every major conflict since World War II, were trained at Reese Air Force Base.
Today, that same spirit of innovation continues as RNSC evolves into a leading hub for research, testing, and collaboration focused on national security and critical infrastructure resilience.
The base was officially closed in 1997. However, rather than allowing the infrastructure to go to waste, it was repurposed into a research and business park.
Texas Tech University has played a leading role in the sites development, transforming it from a tactical training ground into a strategic research center focused on national security.
Transforming 50-years of legacy into a cutting-edge defense hub.
