Pre-Veterinary
At Texas Tech, students interested in pursuing a Pre-Veterinary pathway are encouraged to choose the Animal Science major with a concentration in science to fulfill the prerequisite courses required by most veterinary schools. You will gain hands-on experience by working with animals and experienced faculty. We also encourage you to start building clinic shadowing and work hours now, before you even earn your degree — because the strongest vet school applicants start early.

The Student Agricultural Council supports all Davis College competitive teams, clubs, and organizations. They work to establish and maintain a working relationship between students, faculty, administration, and the Davis College community. The officers oversee Davis College events including Ag Fest, Winter Welcome, and banquets throughout the year.
