All Scholarships Teacher Education Department ScholarshipsRoxane and Ben A. Strickling Scholarship
Scholarship to support full-time undergraduate students who demonstrate financial need and are majoring in the College of Education. Students must demonstrate satisfactory academic performance of a 2.75 GPA or above.
*To be awarded to freshman, sophomore, or junior students.
Dr. Kathy Rollo Future Lubbock ISD Educator Scholarship
Scholarship awarded to College of Education students who 1) graduated from Lubbock Independent School District and 2) who intend to teach in Lubbock Independent School District after graduation.
Mary Ellen & Kate Aiken Elementary Education Scholarship
Scholarship is to be awarded to undergraduate students in the College of Education who have demonstrated a financial need and expressed an interest in elementary education.

Elementary; 4-8 Mid-Level: English or Science; or Secondary: English, math, or science.
Who is my advisor?
Students are assigned to their advisor by last name and are introduced at Red Raider Orientation.
What is Red Raider Orientation (RRO)?
Red Raider Orientation is required for all new undergraduate students. This is an opportunity to meet other new students, get advice from current students, learn Texas Tech traditions, and have fun. Most importantly, you’ll meet with your academic advisor and register for courses.
