Agricultural Education
Agricultural Education prepares you to enter the classroom and beyond, opening doors to careers in secondary education, extension, and other areas of agricultural learning. There are two concentration options in this major: teacher certification or agricultural leadership.
Through the Teacher Certification track, you'll gain the knowledge and skills needed to effectively teach agriculture at the high school level.
The Agricultural Leadership concentration builds skills in communications, education, and team building, preparing students for careers in public or private agriculture, Extension, training and development, management, or sales roles. The major also pairs well with pre-law.
