Texas Tech has become a renowned research-focused institution of higher education because of the many incredibly talented faculty and staff across our campus. Your devotion and compassion for our students set us apart from every other university across the country. We say this all the time but at Texas Tech it truly is the people that make the difference. As we begin to emerge from this worldwide pandemic, we are going to do so in a phased approach that puts your safety and wellbeing at the forefront. New policies and procedures that are being implemented across the university are being done to assist you in your professional duties but also to protect your health and the health of those that you love. Thank you for making Texas Tech so incredibly special and for helping us create a safe learning environment for our students.

Our Plan to Return to Campus

Health & Safety
A safe working environment for faculty and staff at Texas Tech is vital and the policies and procedures that have been put in place are designed to safeguard your wellbeing.

Return to Campus
Getting faculty and staff back on campus will be done in a phased approach and requires a shared responsibility as we work to create a safe environment for all.

Research Activity
The Texas Tech University Office of Research & Innovation has provided guidance for faculty and staff regarding the return to on-campus research activity.

Transportation & Parking Services
Getting to and from campus is a vital part of being involved in the Texas Tech community. We are working diligently to focus our resources on transporting you from remote locations to the campus academic core as safely and efficiently as possible.

Academic Instruction
There will be a return to face-to-face academic instruction this fall along with additional modifications to foster a safe environment for students and faculty.

Recreation Center
The staff at Rec Sports has rolled out new policies and procedures to allow for a safe experience when using the Student Recreation Center and all of its incredible amenities.

Travel
Faculty and Staff should be advised of the university's current polices regarding official travel.
