midwestern lit guy from NWCA?
Hey, sorry about the wacky subject line. I'm looking for the recent PhD who
was at NWCA in Bloomington in April and had been hired by a school (in the
south?) to direct a WC as well as teach. I believe he was at
Wisconsin-Madison and he was writing a diss on the literature of the
American midwest, essentially arguing (among other things, I presume) that
there was an identifiable tradition there.
I'm trying to find him because the MLA radio committee is working on some
new shows for their NPR series "What's the Word?" and they are trying to
put together experts on regional lit.
Does this sound like you or anyone you know? If it is, please contact me at
this address.
