Hello again, James--

Last year's online conference was very enjoyable, and I'm looking forward to
the 2000 version.

Did you know I've been conducting survey research regarding the "status"
afforded online presentations/publications as compared to the status given to
scholarship conducted along "traditional" lines?  The preliminary results are
interesting.
