C&W 2000: Technology Design Competition

Hey, all---

A quick message here to make sure everyone knows the revised deadline for
entering the Technology Design Competition associated with Computers and
Writing 2000.  It's October 15, 1999-----not October 1.

If you haven't heard about the competition before, it's for both
individuals and organizations (these will be different groupings, of
course) that are designing technologies (conceived broadly), and you can
select from the following three categories:  K-12 Education, University
Education, and Industry.  Krista Homicz from the University of Michigan and
I are coordinating it, and we'd love to have many entries from the acw-l
and wcenter ranks, if any of you are doing some work with software or other
technological design.
