Re[2]: for Eric Hobson

Eric, thanks. I heard from Pam too. Guess she likes to read your mail. I've
ordered the book ILL since it wasn't in our library. I'm looking forward to
it. What I'm writing about is using constructive toys like legos or tinker
toys to "build" papers. I learned about the technique at Landmark College
this summer in a workshop for LD, but it lends itself to many many
students, especially the more visual, spacial and kinesthetic, not to
mention those who find toys fun and writing a bore.

     Anyway, thanks for your help!

     Denise

The session was "Expanding Our Palette: Using Visual Composing
Strategies to Tutor Writing" and was led by Eric Hobson, Pam Childers
and Malcolm Childers.

Most of the presentation can be found within our book __ARTiculating:
Teaching Writing in a Visual World___ by Pamela Childers, Eric Hobson,
Joan Mullin. Heinemann/Boynton Cook, 1998.

Is this enough information?
