HELP! 

The big suits here are demanding to know BY WEDNESDAY roughly what percent
of universities nationally have formal WAC programs. I haven't the
foggiest, other than to say "Well, a whole bunch of them." Can anyone help?
Do you have the info at hand, or can you point me to a source?

While I'm on my knees, pleading, let me also ask for more. We're a deep
South, regional state school of 15,000. Can anyone offer a breakdown for
comparable schools? And any idea what percent of WAC directors are also
Writing Center directors?

Send your replies off-list, if you like. Now I'll get busy trying to find
this info on my own. Thanks.
