Cathy, since you have worked in our Center, I know you can answer the
questions you pose, but I do have another piece of advice.  When we first
used our writing center to get computers (the opposite of what you are
doing), we made the argument that our tutors were uniquely positioned to
help students with using computers for composing--thinking about the
rhetorical rather than the technical problems, something no other computer
lab on campus could offer.
