Peer Centered First real meeting!

Hi all!

Now that our inaugural bash is over, Peer Centered is getting down to business. This weeks forum will be about our tutor stories:

"Sharing our stories builds community. Through our stories we share our successes and our challenges, and we discover the ideological connections we share. Getting together to (re)tell our tutoring experiences is one of the most powerful and useful means of learning about tutoring. For our first discussion we will be sharing our tutoring stories. You might want to visit The National Writing Center Association Tutor Stories page to get in the right mindset. You might want to sit down with your colleagues in your writing center and talk. Whether you are seeking advice or wishing to share a success come to Peer Centered and (re)tell us your story!"
This week's Peer Centered will be at 8/7/6/5 E/C/M/PDT on Wednesday, October 14. Check out http://www.slcc.edu/wc/peercentered for information about getting a character, and logging in.

NOTICE: We had a MOO crash over the weekend and it wiped out the new users since last Wednesday morning. If you registered after Wednesday morning, please register again.
