We have posters that tutors have brought in (pictures of 
endangered species from an ecofeminist, pictures of 
Mallorca from a tutor homesick for her hometown, etc.),
plants that tutors and English department members have
donated, and until recently a huge fish tank that a
graduate tutor brought in when he moved to a small apartment.
(We may have to replace it. Tutors and students alike 
really miss it.) 

We think the place is very inviting for both tutors and
students.
