Re: blah center

Every semester I tell the tutors that the bulletin board (which covers
most of one, long wall) and the walls are there's to decorate as they
please.

So, about every two years, we get a new theme.

I've brought posters from a trip to Colorado, and a poster on reading
from the Libary of Congress gift shop. Students have supplied posters of
their favorite artists as well as pictures from old calendars and placed.
One wall--top to bottom--has an eclectic collection of Norman Rockwell,
scenic prints, and computer-drawn images.

I also give them free reign to arrange the room as they like. Sometimes
I help, but my suggestions are usually voted down. ;)

I am always amazed at their creativity and energy and FRUGALNESS.
