I'm faculty.

On the quarter system, most faculty taught 3-3-3 (3 five-hour courses per
quarter); I had one course reassigned time each quarter to direct the
Center, but I taught a tutor-training course every quarter (a two-hour
course) as an overload.

The population is just under 10,000. We have 7 peer tutors, 2 graduate
assistants, and two work-study students who help with the computers. Last
year, we conducted 606 tutorials, led 11 workshops, conducted 486
orientations to word processing.

The Writing Center holds 24 computers, and it functions as a general
computer lab when faculty members don't reserve it for use.
