1.  what is your rank?  do you hold a staff/faculty/administrative
appointment?

Faculty--Assistant Professor, tenure track

2.  what is your teaching load?  how much released time are you
allowed to administer your center?

Our faculty teaches a 4/4 load.  I receive 1/4 release time for my service
as WC Coordinator.

3.  what size is your institution;  how many people staff your center and
how many students do you see a semester?

Our enrollment is approx. 3300; the WC has one part time master tutor
and 8 part time peer tutors; we average about 170 tutoring sessions
monthly (I can't find a record of numbers of clients--sorry).

4.  what programs, besides the simple task of training tutors and
administering the smooth running of the center, are you also in charge of
(wac, consultants to faculty, etc.)?

I hope you mean "simple" task of training tutors--my training consists of a
one hour course and a good deal of one-on-one time.
And yes, I am (it seems permanently) Chair of the University Writing
Committee, which is in charge of our writing reinforcement program.
