Re: 1 or 2 semesters of FYE?

Hi Christine--

We have a two-semester comp sequence. 101 ("Composition") is primarily an
introduction to research and source-based writing. 102 ("Composition and
Literature") is essentially a literature course that applies the research
principles. Students whose Rising Junior Writing Portfolios are evaluated
as "needing work" are required to complete 201 ("Writing in the
University"), a course taught by an English instructor who works closely
with each student's advisor creating assignments specific to the discipline.

I'm not sure if that's much help, but there it is.
