"The List"--always touchy to know whether you're on it or not and just what 
the list if for.  Yes!

If you received a yellow postcard re the conference in the spring, you are 
on our mailing list for registration materials and should receive them soon
.  (National Conference on Peer Tutoring in Writing - I guess I should 
identify the list again!)

If you sent me your address recently, you have been added to our list and 
should also receive materials soon.

And, if you're not sure about either of these things, just send me your 
address again (off list) (wcenter list, this time!) and we'll check.

Is that clear?  It's been a long day.
