Dear Robert,

Our graduate assistant in English are required to give X number of hours in
return for fee waivers. They also use the time to prepare them to enter the
classroom (they have to have 12 hours of graduate study before they can
enter the classroom as teachers. They do also tutor in the classroom under
the supervision of an instructor or veteran graduate student).

We also hire undergraduates and graduate students from other departments,
depending our our needs.
