Good News--Archives 1994-present
Group,
Per Andersen, the systems programmer who helps with WCENTER, sent
me the following message:

The automation of the new wcenter archive is working.
Please post a message to wcenter telling your subscribers the
wcenter archives can be viewed at
http://www.ttu.edu/wcenter.
All the old archives back to June 1994 are now
in the new format.

The previous archive included messages beginning in January 1995.
Now we have all the messages since wcenter began its archive in
June 1994. You can organize the messages by thread and by
author.
Several of you have had trouble being bumped off the list. Per
says it's because there are some "bad addresses" and next week,
he is going to show me how to remove those "bad addresses" from
the list. As a result, we will have a better idea of the real
number of subscribers. I'll let you all know when I start
cleaning up the list. Should you stop receiving messages at that
time, let me know.
I want to take this opportunity to express publically my thanks to
Per Andersen who manages the technology that makes wcenter possible.
I would also like to thank the Academic Computing Services and Texas
Tech University for providing funds (salaries, programs, etc.) that
support this list.
