In the constant debate on whether to send reports of student sessions to
instructors, we at UM find our rationale: If we report to instructors, we
avoid the appellation of participators in plageriasm. After all, we are
AUTHORIZED help, authorized by the university that pays us. In the on-
going discussions regarding student privacy issues, the only real argue-
ment we can muster is that if we report what we have done, both we and
the student are above reproach.
