If you're looking for good, cheap food (entrees somewhere between 8-12
bucks), I'd recommend taking an el ride, north from the loop, away from the
conference, to the Wrigleyville / Lakeview area. There are loads of nice
places, from ethiopian to sush, to italian and mexican, all along clark
street by wrigley field, between diversey and irving park, if you have a
map in front of you.
