Re: New from NWCA Press

Dear Kathy,
Of course I may appear to be speaking out of self-interest here,
because Byron Stay and I want to sell books, but purchasing printed
resources for your writing center library seems like a perfectly
appropriate use of your budgeted funds. One of the things that Byron did
when he established our Writing Center (about 75 years ago, I think) was
set up a library, which has now grown to the point that it is useful for
tutor training, professional development, as well as research. Perhaps
you might consider designating some funds for this purpose whenever you
make a new budget.
					Warm regards,
