Confidentiality Polices

Dear Colleagues,

My tutors and I are preparing a presentation for the SWCA meeting
(April 23-25 in Macon, GA) on our confidentiality policy, which for
us means that we don't report or in any way discuss students' visits
to the center with their instructors or with anyone else, that we
have confidential records and staff meetings, and that we define
ourselves as a service for and about students. At Agnes Scott, a
small liberal arts college for women, this policy is tied in
important ways to our honor code and to the amssphere of trust we
try to build here.

We are interested in comparing our policy and the issues surrounding
it to policies and issues at other institutions that are like and not
like us. Whether you have a similiar policy, a substantially
different one, or no such policy and reasons for doing things
differently, we would like to talk with you on this subject.

If you would be willing to be contacted by one of the Agnes Scott
tutors to discuss confidentiality and related issues at your center,
please let me know off-list at

ccozzens@ness.AgnesScott.edu

Thanks for you attention and help!
