RE: Hourly rate info needed

Hi everyone!

Budget committees are currently meeting to discuss starting a writing
center here at Waldorf for next fall.  I will be the full-time assistant
director, however the director is a full-time professor with no time to
spare on the center.  He will oversee my work in general and provide
guidance as I make decisions for the center.  (He is not even asking for
a raise of salary.)  I am to start up the center this summer, hire
tutors, train them, and have the center up and running for fall.  They
are still trying to come up with a salary figure for me.  I will only
have a BA and this will be my first job.  The director is mostly
concerned with approval for the center--and if that means a very meager
salary for me, so be it.  I, on the other hand, am concerned that my
availability and excitement for the project will be taken advantage of
by the budget committee.  

If there is anyone out there with a position similar to this (director
only in practice and with only a BA), I would appreciate knowing what
kind of salary you get.  If you would prefer to reply off-list, that
would be fine.
