grants

Hello Centaurs--

Could someone recommend a URL or perhaps just talk about the kinds of
grants that one might get to sustain an all-purpose writing center in a
large university?

I have always wanted to learn more about this.  I've heard about FIPSE and
ERIF grants being used. But I don't know very much about them.  Would
anyone be willing to tell their story about going after grant money? Or,
again, if this exists somewhere in an electronic archive, I'd love know
where.  Couldn't find much on grants on the NWCA or NCTE pages (unless I
just missed it.)
