laptops

I want to quick jump into the laptop discussion before I leave for
break!
I am at a small, Lutheran college that includes a new IBM thinkpad in
with tuition for all students.  We have hook ups for the net and the
network printer system in every dorm room and all over campus.  
Yes, there is the occasional student who drops their computer, but for
the most part, the project has been incredibly successful.  It is truly
an advantage.
Sorry so short.  I hope the discussion is still going on when I get back
on Monday!
