Proofreading Manuals

Someone from a life insurance company called to ask me to recommend a proofreading manual: it would include proofreader's marks, techniques for effective proofreading, and info on commonly violated grammar rules.

We have plenty of grammar handbooks, many of which include this information and more, but can anyone recommend a book geared specifically toward proofreading in professional situations?
