actually, I want to add my thanks--the thread that carl started was timely
and enabled us at the U of southern colorado to add support to our OWL
proposal--last night we met with poobahs armed with ideas from the purdue
owl and from this list and were very successful in finding funding and
cooperation.  I can think of no other place where I'm more proud to
announce that the USC Writing Center will soon be offering online tutoring
to our university and local high schools.  will hochman
