At ISU we start our undergrad tutors at $5.50 -- then as they progress
up the CRLA certification (the 3-credit tutoring writing class gets them
to Level I and 10 more hours of training projects plus 20 more hours of
supervised tutoring gets them to Level II) they receive "raises" of .50
per hour.  Students with a B.A. start at $7.50, and progress up by .50
cent increments; those with Master's or above start at 9.50 and go up
likewise. The upper limit is $11 for CRLA Level III.
