Tutor Hourly Wage

I am attempting the impossible task of getting more money for my 
tutors.  My student tutors earn $5.75 per hour; my professional tutors 
(adjuncts and individuals with BA degrees) earn $6.50 per hour.  I'm 
curious how much other community colleges with a student population 
around 5,000 pay their tutors.  I need some ammunition when I go to 
the dean.  I want her to realize what a valuable asset the tutors 
really are.  Help!
