OWL Models
Dear Listserv Participants:
In the few months I've been lurking on the writing center listserv, I've
been impressed with the collective expertise of writing center people out
there in cyberspace. I'm collecting literature about on-line writing
centers before I set up my own. Does anyone recall a publication (or
publications) that has (have) discussed different models of OWLs?
Specifically, I'm looking for information that discusses the merits of
various distribution systems (e.g., e-mail or web-based OWLs), as well as
the advantages and disadvantages of various electronic conferencing
software packages. I'm also interested in different implementation models
(e.g., OWL + f2f writing centers, OWL only). Thanks for your assistance.
