tutor student ratios

Hello Everyone!
	I've been list lurking for a while, but I did get the chance to
meet a few of you at the conference in Kentucky.  Several times at the
conference, I heard people give the ratio of Writing Center Tutors to
students at their institutions, and I was struck by how understaffed we
are by comparision (we have seven part-time tutors and two ESL specialists
to serve 25,000 students).  Of course we knew we were understaffed, but we
didn't know how we stacked up against other colleges and universities.
Could people on this list please post their own ratios?  I'd like to see
if we can make a case for a few more tutors!
