Re: To toe or to tow the line?




Denise,
	I was always told it was toe the line, and the specific example
given to explain was lining up for a swimming race, where the contestants
get their big toe right to the line, go their crouch, and at the gun dive
in and stroke to glory or cramps, whichever comes first.
