Hope this arrives in time to help you out!
at The City College of the City University of New York, tutors are
required to take two courses within the department of English:
ENGL 312.3 Advanced Grammar and ENGL 319.3 Workshop in Tutoring Writing
312.3 is also required of Education majors, and 319.3 is counted toward
the Certificate in Professional Writing (a program that attracts many
non-English majors).
good luck!!
