In addition to Stephen's observation, there are those of us on this list who are
not wc directors or tutors -- but we are interested in the cause.  I found this
list to be invaluable as I wrote my dissertation, and I continue to find it to
be invaluable as I teach 12 hrs of comp a semester.  I found my current job (a
one-year contract) on this list, and I continue to watch for my next job on this
list as well.  This list is vibrant yet relevant -- lots of discussion without
lots of extraneous stuff mucking up the works (like this testimonial...).  :-)
