ATTENTION NCTE `97 ATTENDEES:

"All writers benefit from the feedback provided by another person." This is
a theme you will hear throughout the NCTE `97 conference in Detroit.
Experience that truth firsthand at the conference Writing Center.

The National Writing Centers Association (NWCA) will operate a Writing
Center during this year's NCTE conference in Detroit. Staffed by writing
center directors from around the country, and located in the Exhibits Area,
the writing center offers all conference goers

* one-to-one consultation on any writing project--ARTICLES, GRANTS, MEMOS
BROCHURES-- at any stage of the writing process (bring a draft, notes,
ideas, etc.)
* advice about, feedback on, and assistance with  NCTE `98 presentation
proposals
* help planning, implementing, or expanding a writing center program
